Heya! We’re Kolyn & Denis and we’re The Curious Tourists.
We met back in 2010 and we’ve been on a big adventure together ever since. Despite visiting over 85 countries, we’ve never been full-time travellers. We both work full-time jobs here in Ireland and squeeze all our trips into our annual leave. Now we want to show you how to travel the world without quitting your job.
We love visiting new places. From theme parks and cruises to city breaks and tourist attractions, we’re here to share our experiences, tips and plenty of laughs to help you plan your own adventures.

Kolyn is from Dublin and has spent his career working in media. He currently works in creative programming for SPIN and iRadio, two of Ireland’s biggest radio brands.
Before launching The Curious Tourists, he was one of Ireland’s top drag performers, Joanna Ryde. Those adventures saw him write a book, win Alternative Miss Ireland, host radio shows and appear on Britain’s Got Talent and The All Ireland Talent Show.
When he isn’t planning the next trip, you’ll usually find him building Lego, watching Formula 1 or reading about roller coasters. His pride and joy is the infamous Wall of Flags in our house. There’s one for every country we’ve been to!
Denis is originally from Tipperary. With a Diploma in Hospitality Management and a background in hotel management (including the Tower Hotel in Waterford), Denis knows what he’s looking for in a great travel experience. He currently works full-time for the leading sales and marketing company Stafford Lynch. Outside of work, he’s passionate about food, history and cruise ship design. He’s also a massive Titanic enthusiast and LOVES visiting royal palaces.
